High School Mascots: rally the crowds! Enthusiasm and energy are required, let us know if your events are typically indoors or outdoors. Our mascot models include special treatments for maximum performer comfort; weather proof soles and include ice vests and fans for cooling.

College Mascots, University Mascots & Team Mascots: often work in conjunction with cheerleading squads and College Football teams. Outdoor costume detailing is generally required. For indoor events, performers appreciate the ventilation and cooling systems built into all of our quality mascot costumes.

Corporate Mascots: mascot costumes can be conceived, designed and manufactured to include organization's logo, colors and themes - they're great team motivators or promotional characters!

The Art of Communicating

Speaking when in your costume is, in fact, a fire-able offense at Disneyland. Everything must be expressed by gesture and movement. This is where a chaperone can help, by acting as a character's interpreter. A character with our special head harness that gives full head movement can nod or shake its head to agree or disagree with a question or statement or look in the direction of a stimulus. A skill in pantomime is developed by practice and experience.

Children & Mascots

Do you like kids? Yes? If you don't, then why are you doing this job? It helps to be aware how some of the different age groups may react you in costume, to be an effective mascot character.

Event Day Checklist

By completing a simple check list before a performance, the mascot performer can avoid problems and possible disruption to his or her performance.

  • The first and most obvious thing to do is make certain that you have all the required mascot pieces, such as props and accessories for the costume before you arrive at your venue.
  • Check and double check. It is preferable you have custody of your costume the day before your engagement.
  • A forgotten costume component or I.D./ticket to get into the Venue may mean total non appearance.
